Booking & Cancellation policy
As a small business owner who works from home, I am sure you can appreciate that I have put these policies in place to ensure all my clients have the best possible experience at The Garden room.
My business is by appointment only and the time you book is reserved exclusively for you. I unfortunately cannot accept any walk ins.
The Garden room is located at the top of my garden with separate parking and a back entrance, just 5 minutes from Helston town centre.
Once a booking has been made, directions will be sent over in a confirmation email. I tend not to give my home address and post code as the sat nav will send you down a very narrow road to the wrong part of the house with no parking.
(Also as I work from home, I'm sure you can appreciate that I do not like to advertise my address online)
I have free parking, and toilet facilities are available in my dwelling upon request. Please note that accessing the facilities are not suitable for wheelchairs or those whose may struggle with stairs.
Non-refundable booking fee
I require a 20% non-refundable booking fee to be paid at the time of booking. This is to secure your appointment and will be deducted from your overall treatment cost on the day. This can be paid by bank transfer and details of this will be sent to you. Once payment has been received, you will receive confirmation of your booking.
Unfortunately, if the non-refundable booking fee is not paid, then your appointment is not secured and may be offered to another client.
Your consultation form will be sent to you in your confirmation email. If you are a returning client, a consultation form will need to be completed every 6 months to ensure all details are up to date.
*Please note that I may ask for a letter from your doctor before proceeding with any treatments. This is to ensure it is safe to carry out the treatment as your wellbeing is my priority.
If you are running late, please let me know as soon as possible. I will do my best to honour your full appointment time, however it may be necessary to shorten or reschedule your appointment for the consideration of other clients.
Cancelling or rescheduling
If you need to cancel, I kindly ask that you let me know no later than 24 hours before your appointment. Booking fees are non-refundable but I am more than happy to transfer it to another suitable date if you wish to reschedule.
Cancelling with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in your booking fee being non-transferrable.
If you are unfortunately feeling unwell on the day of your appointment including having any Covid-19 symptoms, or if you have been in contact with somebody who may have Covid-19, please do not attend your appointment. Please let me know as soon as possible and I can reschedule your booking.
Under 16 years
I am afraid I do not offer treatments to under 16 year olds.
Mini Face Heaven
Waxing: brows, lip, chin, face, underarm, half leg, full leg, basic bikini and high bikini.
I am afraid I do not offer massage to under 18's.
*Please note that if you are 16 years old, permission from an adult or parent will be required and presence during the treatment.
